Határon túli, kárpátaljai magyar tudományosság népszerűsítése Innsbruckban

A magyar tudomány ünnepének méltatása évtizedekre visszanyúló hagyomány a Kárpát-medencében. Ehhez kapcsolódóan minden év novemberében számos ünnepi rendezvényre kerül sor úgy Magyarországon, mint a határon túli régiókban. A rendezvénysorozathoz kapcsolódva 2022. november 17-én a Hodinka Antal Nyelvészeti Kutatóközpont és a Filológia Tanszék munkatársai és diákjai az Innsbrucki Egyetem vendégei lesznek, ahol egy workshop keretein belül a kárpátaljai magyar tudományosságot mutatják be az érdeklődőknek. A délután fő témája: The past and present of minorities in Transcarpathia (A kárpátaljai kisebbségek múltja és jelene).

A rendezvény programja:

2022. november 17.

15:30 – Hires-László Kornélia: Antal Hodinka Linguistics Research Center in Beregszász

15:45 – Máté Réka: The past and present of minorities in Transcarpathia (Ukraine)

16:15 – Bárány Erzsébet: Ukrainians in Transcarpathia

16:30 – Lévai Aliz, Orbán Viktória: Student life in the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education

A workshop absztraktja:

Transcarpathia is the westernmost region of Ukraine. During the 20th century, historical storms swept the area to several different state formations. Due to these historical changes, the composition of the population and the several languages spoken in the region makes the area one of the most diverse ones in the county, both ethnically and linguistically. In our presentation, we would like to give an insight into the situation of Transcarpathian minorities, with a short overview of their history and cultural heritage, and reflect on the current events, in the light of the Ukrainian-Russian war. We aim to show how the war and its consequences have affected the lives of minority communities and what obstacles they have to face to maintain their language, culture and identity.
